WHY
Because criminalisation of migrants and refugees is a bad proposal.
It drives people apart. Because it makes people afraid to show their faces, afraid to seek help. Because it benefits those who will take advantage of it: exploiters, abusers, thieves, and perpetrators of violence.
And above all:
Because it belittles human dignity, That's why we're holding this demonstration: to make our voices heard against this proposal, which the Senate will vote on in September.

Who are we?
About us
We are migrants who work as domestic workers (Migrant Domestic Workers). Thousands of households entrust us with their keys. Where people live, we provide care, clean, and contribute to the living environment.
Through us, the members of these families can devote themselves to their work, study, recovery and other social activities.
We make a significant contribution to society and the economy. We want recognition and respect for our work.
We are not criminals, and we speak out against that image. That's why we stand up!
Voice From Us
Bij FairWork zetten we ons in tegen arbeidsuitbuiting, een vorm van mensenhandel. Uitbuiters maken misbruik van de angst die slachtoffers voelen voor autoriteiten. Als de criminaliseringswet er komt, zullen nog minder mensen om hulp durven vragen of aangifte durven doen. Dat is niet alleen inhumaan, het ondermijnt ook de strijd tegen uitbuiting.
Fysiek en geestelijk ben ik niet in staat om naar Den Haag te komen. Echter ik besef dat ongedocumenteerde mensen die moesten vluchten niet voor niets geen documenten meer hebben. Ik sta achter ze!
I support the peaceful protest against, criminalizing the vulnerable population. I stand with the people in need of support. Together we can achieve more!!!
Van harte steun ik de strijd tegen de criminalisering van een bestaan zonder papieren. Elk mens heeft rechten en verdient van andere mensen respect voor en erkenning van de menselijke waardigheid.
De wereld is van iedereen!
De wereld is van iedereen. Nederland is NIETS zonder migranten, met en zonder documenten.
Let us not forget what the Right Rev. Mariann Budde has said: "“They may not be citizens or have the proper documentation, but the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals.” Undocumented migrants contribute a lot to Dutch society - let us not forget! We should value their hard work and uphold their rights as migrants and as migrant workers.

Ik kan er helaas niet persoonlijk bij zijn in Den Haag aanstaande zondag, maar ik gedachten loop ik mee, voor menselijkheid en tegen criminalisering van mensen zonder papieren. We zijn op de wereld om elkaar te helpen en te delen wat de aarde ons geeft, zonder de planeet uit te putten.
Mensen in nood helpen mag niet strafbaar zijn
Als arts wil ik ieder mens in nood hulp kunnen bieden. Dat staat ook in de eed van Hippocrates die alle artsen zweren of beloven. De wetten die nu bedacht zijn staan hier haaks op. Daarom steun ik dit protest.
